  Opening & Party World Wide Video Festival
   
The World Wide Video Festival opens on Wednesday September 15 at 20.30 hours in the Stedelijk Museum.

There are also official openings at the other locations.

Melkweg: Thursday September 16, 16.30
De Veemvloer: Thursday September 16, 16.30
Gate Foundation: Thursday September 16, 17.00
MonteVideo/TBA: Friday September 17, 17.00
W139: Friday September 17, 17.00

According to 'the meeting' the festival organised the: World Wide Video Festival Party. This party forms a festive stopping place for the festival artists, co-operators, participants en the public, and takes place in the night of Saturday 18th to Sunday 19th of September, at 24.00 – 05.00 hours.
Entrance ƒ 15,- (free with the Festival passe-partout).

  Catalogue 17th World Wide Video Festival
   
All presentations of the 17th World Wide Video Festival are covered at length in an illustrated, 480 page catalogue which also includes interviews and background information. The catalogue is available in the Stedelijk Museum and the Melkweg for ƒ 69,50 and at bookshops.


  Festival café/restaurant
   
During the festival the Melkweg (festival) café is open from 14.00 - 02.00 (Saturday untill 05.00). The restaurant is open from 17.30 - 22.00.

   Entrance fees, addresses and opening hours
   
With the World Wide Video Festival Pass you can visit all the exhibitions, installations and performances -during the festival days- at all locations. The pass costs only f 50,- and is on sale in the Stedelijk Museum and the Melkweg from now on. (Please bring a passport photo!).

~ train from NS station Schiphol to Amsterdam CS -travelling time about 20 min.
- between 06.00 - 24.00 h, every 10 minutes
- between 24.00 - 06.00 h, every hour
