This video is reminiscent of the writings of fellow-countryman Jorge Luis Borges, one of the leading representatives of Ibero-American literature and of Ultraism in the 1920`s. This was a reaction against modernism; he wanted to free especially lyric poetry from non-poetic elements, to create a `pure poetry`, and to suppress the narration of a topic. Likewise the video takes its effect through the images and the technique, without topic-narration. The theme of the video could be seen, in a way, as a second, more accurate view of the city of Buenos Aires. It is about speech, essence, real visions, and the way out. The camera is always very close and moves fast and hectic, giving the whole tape an air of being rushed. It shows hopes and unattainable dreams in this fast-moving city. The view on the world is liberated through the images, which are partially abstract, interwoven, and filtered by different elements of images and lights. The onlooker is participant and viewer at the same time; the adjustment of the camera starts from his point of view. The images are supported by a calm, almost meditative voice, and working sounds and electronic noise in the background; sometimes we hear bits music and fragments of voices. The pictures are very colourful, although they lack almost all natural colouring.
