Body temperature in a kaleidoscope. A whooshing, rhythmical heart beat transformed into music that seems to be being played backwards. Very close filmed skin, navel, hands, pubic hair. Their boundaries with coloured light and horizontal and vertical reflections make them almost unrecognizable. The effect of the revolving mirrors of a kaleidoscope creates continuous holes, body openings that enlarge or close up, tunnels, new forms that disappear into themselves. When this video is projected in a darkened auditorium, it could have the same effect as hallucinatory drugs through the almost endless sequence of moving symmetrical forms that you keep watching, mesmerized.
