We passed through a period of silence, not using words at all. Our world was constructed in our imaging system. We communicated by showing each other images. We could see each other acting in our mental spaces. Our systems were completely interconnected: what was going on in a person's mind had a direct influence on the others. The personal and the collective became inseparable. The notion of identity completely changed: a person could be any other person. At any given moment you could stop being a man and become a woman or a child. You could lose your identity. You could lose your identity and find yourself in another. The me and the you were no more.

Then the images started losing their power. We found ourselves with heaps of meaningless images. To keep our world from falling apart, a new language had to emerge, made of images and words that evolve together, transforming into each other, through time. Your time was contaminated. We had to live in another... Your space became unhabitable, we had to create our own...
