"Einst kommt der Tag der Rache" (One day will be the day of retribution). A man walks with his sausage dog through history while walking the animal in his own neighbourhood. His wife tells that Raudi loved to roll in the faeces of the asylum seekers who used to defaecate behind the fence. "What happened", a television reporter asks emphatically, "in Rostock on August 24, 1992?" A series of fragments from news bulletins and current affairs programmes follows, full of authorities who worry about Germany's image abroad. This culminates in a speech by chancellor Kohl on the controversial constitutional change which would restrict the immigration laws. Then the couple from the introduction ponders on their associations with the colour brown. Hitler courted a girl called Braun and the Hitler Jugend uniform may have been a yucky brown but it was impressive all the same. A series of pictures and songs show that the time with the Jungmädel mostly meant a lot of 'Spass' (fun). Then the link with the literally burning issue follows: recorded live on television seven floors of an appartment building in Rostock have been set on fire, because Lothar Kupfer, the responsible minister, says, "the foreigners provoked this by their deviating behaviour". He omits to mention that nearly twice as many immigrants had been packed together there than the builing could accommodate. The videomaker relieves the problem with a story about Hitler's intestinal troubles and introduces an expert who claims that an average of 130 grams of faeces and 12 sheets of toilet paper can be flushed easily with 6 litres of water. Also one should always inspect one's (dog's) turd as it is a yardstick for one's/its health. "Scheisse" appears to refer to many things.
