At the conclusion we see a man walking in front of an old house. At the moment he reaches the entrance, the video finishes. The old house stands in Central Europe and, after the war, it was used as a hiding place for a fugitive. Inspired by the works of Céline, Sluik/Kurpershoek use the theme of war once more as a central element in this video. This immediately begs the question as to who is guilty and who not. In their previous productions, the makers attempted to manoeuvre the viewer into such a position that they became accomplices instead of innocent bystanders. This time, the viewer is transported into an oppressive and threatening world. At the beginning of the video we see successively an owl's head, the long corridors of a convent and a walled garden with, in the background, the clear sound of (marching) footsteps. In the next section we see soldiers, marching and on horseback, apparently on their way to the front. The images have such power that the shocks of war can be felt throughout the whole video without them being portrayed with too much stress.
