Lela is looking for her friend Srečo in the soldiers' barracks, but she just as feverishly plunders the luxury goods shops. The temptations of the consumer society cloud her spirit, because, isn't happiness an assortment of lipsticks or a pair of sexy nylons- Placed in the early eighties, the coming social changes in Slovenia are outlined in 'Nestrpnost' (Impatience). In a series of scenes in which nightmares and fairy tales hallucinogenically alternate with each other, Lela experiences an identity crisis. She loses her individualism and her principles. Despairing, she asks herself what the purpose of life is. Based on a story by the young Slovenian writer Lela B. Njatin, the well known video makers Neven Korda and Zemira Alajbegovic from the experimental rock group Borghesia have given shape to a titillating tale that is most contemporary considering the changes in the former Yugoslavia.
