The sun comes up beaming. Threatening music. A cloudy sky. Whilst the music continues to sound disquietingly, the heart of the image shows steadily changing aspects of the desert landscape. The poetic impressions of an inaccessible environment slowly succeed each other in a static framework of pale rocks, decked with a single gaunt shrub. The desert: apparently stable, but in fact, constantly changing. Is it not exactly this apparent emptiness that prophets and visionaries seek to experience great revelations- Where there seems to be nothing, reality becomes transitory and there is room for illusion. The sun sets.
