Images of pigs in and out of the water, turkeys, cows, horns sticking proudly into the air, splendid close-ups of the domesticated animal world with, in the background, the melancholy sounds of instrumental improvisations on traditional folk songs when, one for one, as if pre-arranged, the fences open, are broken open by the spirit of the animals, too long imprisoned, they unite in their urge for freedom into one great procession, a demonstrative manifestation through the deserted streets of the capital city. The geese, the owls, the goats, the lizards, the flies, the frogs and the deer, all seem to be possessed by one and the same thought: to move into the places where once mankind ruled and to take over his role. Over beds, balconies, jumping out of windows, over rivers and bridges in one great migration to freedom! A view of Hungarian life and the desire for freedom, made as part of the 'Time Code II' programme 'Music Transfer'.
