A shady modelling agent tries to get three photographic models parts in a(n) (im)moral tale about desperation and hope. In a sequence of scenes, mixing fiction and reality, the apparently hopeless state of mind of their manager, a man who finds satisfaction from a distance, is depicted, rather than the tragedy of the dumb dream-girls. By their behaviour the models express withaphorical mocking laughter at the soulless and sweaty attempts of the man to get them work. The apathy also shown by the ladies distresses their employer, Max, who nevertheless imagines himself to be in command of the situation. When he claps his hands the music starts. Through its gradually developed repetitive character 'Pressure' hypnotically portrays the monotonous state of mind of the main characters precisely, which gives the story an added dimension.
