This strongly visual video attempts to depict the force lines which occur in various situations, such as a conversation between two people. Two figures, shot in profile, render the process of communication more symbolically than realistically: by means of arm and hand movements they try to portray the inner calm (ma) and internal breathing (kokyu), which together express the life force (ki) in the two people. Unaccustomed as we are to such a view of reality, it is no wonder if we tend to see this work rather as a piece of graphics, but it is possible through this video -knowing the maker's intentions - to share the experience of one facet of this oriental approach to life.
