We see someone (or rather someone's legs) repeatedly walk through a doorway; on their way to as many occasionally-contradictory reminiscences. Then the picture changes: a static image of the person concerned looking out of the window into his reminiscences (with his back almost to the camera) contrasts with a number of images, apparently representing memories. These are longer and more monotonous, such as a journey by car, heating a metal, birds on a remote island or a roulette wheel. At the end the person walks in through a doorway, closing the video and the door to his reminiscences. In addition to the meaning indicated by the title, there is also formally a constant exchange of static and dynamic images.
