'Portraits Performance' is allied to 'La Pub; Vidéo Anthologie ABC' by Jean Dupuy and others, presented during last year's festival, and even more closely related to the 30-second video portrajts of artists made by Joan Logue. Based on an idea of Waving Ondulata, Serge Nicolas made a portrait of more or less well-known artists, Belgian or otherwise, who were free to make their presentation - within the technical limitations and the period of
one minute. Among those presented we find musicians from Tuxedomoon and the Belgian film makers Boris Lehman, Samy Szlingerbaum and Thierry Zeno. The most beautiful performance is probably when someone
shaves in front of a monitor: a homage to Magritte.
