An unusual documentary about an unusual project (das Capellenproject Luxemburg/Oesterreich): video as the target of and participant in an experiment. Artists and mentally handicapped spent six months searching for common creative denominators. The organizers had no other aim than to help make art enjoyable in all its forms. If the experiment had any therapeutic aspect, then it was the therapy of having fun. Having fun is not dependent on the capabilities of one's brain, as is amply demonstrated in this product. It is far trom being a dry medically 'responsible' report on the positive effects of creative therapy on morons, but a surprising work of art completely free of didactic or moralistic elements. It is the result of the complete integration of two groups usually far removed trom each other.
