A tape in three parts about the history of relations between inhabitants and the cooperative building society which owns their dwellings. The society, Zuylen, had been founded by an industrial worker but as it grew it became alienated from the inhabitants of its property. When the society neglects its property, the inhabitants come into action and campaign to renew their grip on the society.
