In 'Mirrored Reason' an extremely introverted woman, played by Denise Koch, tells a story based on Kafka in which a woman who could be paranoid loses herself in the presence of her image. 'Face Concert' is the dramatic path through the richly-varied expressive landscape of the human face. In'After Laughter' Vanderbeek, with the assistance of Eadward Muybridge, gives us a glimpse of human history. Fighting, laughing and repeating itself, Mankind heads for the inevitable Big Bang; a question of ultra-high-speed pessimism.
