This is an edition of an art magazine set up in 1980 by a number of art historians to appear 8 times a year, aimed at museums, educational establishments and videotheques. The magazine comments on exhibitions of contemporary visual arts which were on show during the production in New York. This edition takes us to exhibitions of three notable painters living in or near New York: Ellsworth Kelly, Chuck Close and Julian Schnabel, the last two of which are also briefly interviewed. The camera work exploits effectively the advantages of a moving camera over a description in words to describe art. The appraisals are aimed at an art-loving audience with some background in the subject matter .
