Tom Sherman is interested in the similarities and differences between transport technology and the technology of communicating information. The motorway is his metaphor for the way in which people communicate with their surroundings. In this programme he wants to provide a framework within which the viewer can experience his own mechanical nature. First we move through our information, then the information moves through us.
