Bert Schutter Related Forms / Still Life I Still Alive

Bert Schutter, who has been working with video since 1978 as a conceptual artist, provides two installations which play on the theme of time and the limits of the image. In 'Related Forms' he places a large monitor under a smaller one. Slowly the water empties from the small into the large monitor. 'Still Life / Still Alive' consists of three monitors placed next to each other each of which shows a continuous 25 minute period in the existence of a still life.
