A powerful and shocking portrait of a middle-aged woman who spent fifteen years wrestling with cancer. Helen Webster, in a monologue interrupted by a series of poems about her illness, talks about her everyday life, sex, her operations and personal relations. The sober build-up of the programme forces a hard confrontation between the ego of the main character and the viewer, who is encouraged to reflect on the subject of death and dying.
