  Marcel Odenbach
Hiding from Premature Prohibition
  Germany (BRD) 1981-1982
Videotape, 20:00, black-and-white
Odenbach adopts a Hitchcockian style of suspense to criticize the anxious bourgeoisie closing the curtains while knowing that the state is watching closely and keeping everything under control. 'As long as I don't move, I'm not guilty'. Odenbach uses long shots associatively interlinked to attempt to make the audience adopt a critical point of view about the content of the programme.
