The shadow of a woman on the sand as she is washed by the incoming tide while a voice announces the international time. The rapid motion of the waves, the lethargic movement of fishes in apparently still waters. This is a tape about the realisation of time, the tension between time and tide for which sound and vision provide the raw materials for observations on different levels of reality.
