The reconstruction of a nightmare in which electronic effects herald each transition to a new dream image. In a rapid tempo the tape shows pictures of deepsea divers, screeching aircraft, cars, faces and clips from films and tv programmes. The moties which form the foundation of this dream beat more resemblance to images in the memory which do not yet want to disappear than they do to the metaphors on which directors like Fellini and Resnais based their dreams. The spoken commentary refers to the purifying function of the dream.
