DeWitt, Sorensen and Winkler claim to use video equipment as a painter uses his tubes of paint. 'The Video Artist' consist of two works – 'Tempest' and 'Voyage' - preceded and interrupted by short explanations by the artists. 'Tempest' brings back the bubble projector, now hidden behind the lifeless heart of an electronic box of tricks. In 'Voyage' the team makes a voyage in space through the spirit, 'upward and inward'.
