The second issue of the cd-rom magazine BLAM! continues its exposition of necro-, SM and pervo- interests. This number is dedicated to the memory of David Koresh, the leader of the suicide sect which was wound up in such a bloody way by the Feds in 1992 in Wacko. Once you have filled in the reader profile, including your sexual preference, you end up at the list of contents. A random sample: to proceed with the FBI, there is an FBI data base describing criminal events which were in some way related to necrophilia, all this under the title ‘The FBI, necrophilia and you’. There is also room for a quasi scientific report about help for mentally handicapped people with lavatory functions (‘Toilet training for the retarded’), a series of animated porno-photos by a certain Richard Kern, another animation with a bit more surrealistic creativity like rotating, spying eyes in the genitalia and anus of a woman under the title ‘Teenage orgone love cult’, a nice report about Death by electricity, or the extremely violent W.A.R. files, probably intended as masturbation aids or the somewhat disappointing Diary of a Self Slasher by Dr Kreepy Sewer. These are a few examples of what this number has to offer. The quality of the interface and the user friendliness is quite reasonable to even good although the differences in reader profiles don’t produce a different selection of information.
