You involuntarily blink your eyes. More often and harder until you feel a tear gather in the corner of your eye. Just see how strong the direct effectiveness of the medium video is. No, it's not as simple as that, because no one who has ever peeled an onion will remain unmoved when watching this kitchen activity. We see two sad looking women on the monitor, they know what is in store for them. With a resigned look, the two take hold of the rasp and literally within seconds the unmistakable aroma of onion has done its degrading work. Sniff, snot. Hearing and seeing, the brave pair succumb, not least because of the strident cadence of the rasp and onion. Come on woman, dry your tears! Soon we can eat at last.
