The dark sky hangs heavily above the slumbering landscape. Blackly it remains ominously silent. Softly, the distant rumbling approaches. The sultry night is sweet, but suddenly, the charged tension is tarnished by flashing bolts of lightning. The rumbling still roars on as the black of the night falls once more. The dark sky hangs once again heavily above the landscape. Ominously, nature keeps silent again, only the trees rustle. The flashes of light crackle once more though the atmosphere and again and again ... Until the pregnant clouds release their load in measured drops of water, the tension eases and the landscape is moistened by a cool shower of rain.
