The basis of this video is shots of the maker herself whom we see swimming around in a pool. The images are electronically manipulated. The colours change frequently, images are edited together and the tape often gives the impression that it has been damaged. This brings the images across to the viewer in an astonishing way and his manipulations and distortions become a form of creativity. Over the images, and between synthetic music and swimming pool noises, a female voice sings: "Niemahls war das Glück mir so nah". It is as if, in the video, the artist is released from a tight straightjacket by baring himself in an original, versatile way.
