A close-up of a woman. This images revolves. At first hesitatingly, then dizzyingly fast and then it comes to rest again. She has become a man! The atmosphere of this video (humoristic, playful, non-conformist) is strongly reminiscent of the avant-garde films made in the twenties by French artists - both cineasts and painters. 'J'ai rêvé que j'étais toi' could one day become just as great a classic as Marcel Duchamps 'Anémic cinéma' from 1925-26 which also has a revolving figure as the central theme.
