The happy flower children of olden days have lost their way to paradise. Somewhere between the seventies and the nineties, the beautiful dream shattered. Suffocating relationships, a futureless existence in which each woman becomes a stand-in for the woman she knew. A mirror image that asks itself if sex would be better being on top (then you can move your hips better). But, what does it matter with men of forty who still stand in front of the mirror miming guitar as if they were playing with Led Zeppelin or the Allman Brothers- The structure of the existence of the forty year old main character is determined by the aerobic exercises of the one-time activist Jane Fonda (on Warner Home Video). Armed with the remote control you can zap to chat-shows. The meaning of life is considered despairingly. Masturbation in front of the box with Jane Fonda prancing back and forth encouragingly- The trees by the window show that there must be more.
