A chance contact between two choreographers/video makers and two actors led to an attempt to formulate an answer to the question ''How to find a meeting-point for diversified preoccupations and different aesthetic approaches which nevertheless have echoes in common-'' Their multidiscipline quest is set in a primitive landscape, full of dust, ruptured earth, unpolished pebbles. Mankind leaves behind signs of his presence here in the form of his own footsteps and consciously introduced artifacts or artificially cut images like extreme close ups or almost non informative long shots. To the accompaniment of rarefied minimal music, a group of people in ageless industrial clothing (protective goggles, life jackets) plays a mechanical game with old fashioned consumer goods (broomsticks, pedal sewing machines) that, in contrast to hi-tech production methods, refers exclusively to itself. After all, no corporative aim (output, profit) is served. Their manipulations with crumpled and once more smoothly ironed newspapers, waving umbrellas and plastic barrier demarkation tape permit but one conclusion: it's fun having fun!
