'sulsouth – voyages into mutant technologies' has been curated by Jose Ferreira. It was first shown 26 April – May 13, 2001 at the Instituto Camões, Centro Cultural Português, Maputo. Jose Ferreira is an artist born in Maputo, Mozambique. He lives and works in London.

'Feuilleton Imprécis' is considered the missing link between French 'Nouvelle Vague' and Brazilian 'Cinema Novo'. Directed by the great French réalisateur Philippe Ledoux, master of Godard and Claude Lelouch, it has also been the main source of inspiration for Latin-American soap operas like 'Mulheres de Areia' and 'Manuela' and North-American thrillers like 'Rebecca'.

Philippe Ledoux is a pseudonym for a group of artists (Marcelo Arruda, Dora Longo Bahia, Renato Cohen and Priscila Lena Farias) living and working in São Paulo, Brazil. They believe Philippe Ledoux was born in France in the 1940s, and now lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.
