Geisler deed zorgvuldig onderzoek naar schoonheidsidealen en schiep met behulp van de mogelijkheden van de technologie het ideale (vrouwelijke) schoonheidsmodel. Ze is geïnteresseerd in de discrepantie tussen 'natuurlijke' en 'kunstmatige' werelden en wil nagaan in hoeverre die werelden in feite van elkaar te onderscheiden zijn.
