De videomaker Theo Eshetu heeft een Nederlandse moeder en Ethiopische vader, werd geboren in Londen, bracht zijn kinderjaren door in Ethiopië en woont momenteel in Rome. Eshetu bezoekt het land en het volk dat zijn afkomst deelt en doet verslag van de ontmoeting met zijn grootvader. Eshetu demonstreert eens te meer dat video een vorm van kunst is, getuige zijn kleur-, vorm-, en geluidsexperimenten, en de vloeiende manier waarop de montage is uitgevoerd. The videomaker Theo Eshetu has a Dutch mother and Ethiopian father, was born in London, spent a few years of his childhood in Ethiopia and currently lives in Rome. Eshetu visited the country and the people who share his origin and reports here on the meeting with his grandfather. Eshetu demonstrates once again that video is a form of art - witness his experiments in colour, form and sound, and the flowing manner in which the work has been edited.
